Today is the 24th birthday of the first Macintosh.  When it was released in January, 1984, the $2,500 machine had no hard drive, 128K (yes…K) of RAM, and required floppy drive switching to run the OS and it’s applications.

My first Mac, purchased for me in March 1984 by my late mother, still sits in my parents basement.  Thanks, again, Mom.
