George Bush, visiting the Black Sea of Romania today, said a whole lot of nothing when it came to addressing Visa waiver access for Romanians wanting to visit the United States, for business or personal reasons, up to six months at a time.  Most European Union countries are part of the Visa Waiver Program, allowing their citizens to enter the United States at their leisure. Not so for Romania (also a member of the EU since January 1, 2007), who contributes more troops to the Iraq war effort than France - or Germany.  Bush stated in his speech, “we understand.”

Translation: “thanks for sending your sons and daughters to Iraq on behalf of our mess. We plan to do nothing in exchange for your sacrifice.”

What a joke.
